Please be advised that handguns and other weapons are prohibited on AISD property and at Cap City Marching Festival.
Gate admission for 2021 will be:
Seniors (65+)/Military $10
Children under five admitted free of charge.
Any person without a pass or any student not dressed in an official band shirt or uniform will be asked to purchase a wristband. Wristbands are good all day long, including the finals. Wristbands are required for exit and re-entry.
Admission includes a program, which includes information about each competing band, a scoring sheet, and other festival information.
Band Directors will receive their wristbands and three complimentary passes per bus when the band arrives at the Burger Center.

Band buses and vehicles carrying band and pit equipment enter Burger Center off the Highway 290/Ben White frontage road. Click here for a map that shows the bus/trailer entrance.
Spectator Access and Parking
Spectators should NOT follow buses and trailers into the stadium parking area. All spectators MUST enter the stadium on the southwest side/press box side of the stadium. Entrances for spectator parking are off Jones Road, NOT off the Highway 290 frontage road. No spectator vehicles will be allowed to enter Burger Center from the frontage road.
Spectator vehicles should turn right from the frontage road onto Ernest Robles Way before they get to the stadium and then left onto Jones Road. Click here for a map that gives directions for spectator vehicles to the spectator parking lot.
Parking is always free at Cap City.
